I was messing around tonight with playing to songs on my ipod into my headphones, and then videotaping myself. Then upstaires on my computer syncing up the video track with the mp3 track and getting the sync as close as possible. Its alot of trial and error, but I almost got it perfect.

Here is an experimential clip I did of the song "Cab" from the band CAB. Some people here should be familiar with this band, and this particular. It was a first take, and I just blew over the solo part. Nothing too great, but once I get the syncing down perfectly, I am going to mic my kit fully and start making some cool videos to full tracks.

Hope you can find some enjoyment in it. Cheers everyone.

    Hey Nevesis,

I cant' really to hear what you are playing on this clip, but I find that you have a beautiful hands positions !!!

Nice trad grip on your left hand, and nice match grip with your right hand.

    Great.

And now ... dynamics. I think a lot of that is down to the recording technique, which isn't being too kind to your sound. But I also think you could explore dynamics a bit more.

i saw some of your other videos too and your hand speed and the speed around the set is pretty sick? Howdyou practice that? I saw that double kick clip too and that is also sick. ( i have zero chops... not like i need it that much ... but it would be nice to have so i can do what i do now easier)

Is that from the first CAB CD? I must check out these CDs cuz all I know about it is that I read a review in MD and it had a high rating and the clips of CAB 4 on amazon sounded pretty cool.

You have fantastic technique and impressive speed. I couldn't here the backing music at all but frankly it didn't matter. Nice playing geezer.

Yeah, it would be nice to hear your drums mic'd up and mixed so i could hear what was going on. It looked good

You actually could probably use a program like reason or logic and play (or just write in) that bass line in there, so you would not have any of the recorded drums off the CD coming through, it was a simple enough bass line that i think you could just program in it MIDI. Then without drums in there we could hear all of what you were doing.
